CITROEN GS, May 1973, Left-hand-drive, Beige metallic ( Beige Tholonet) with brown vinyl interior, 4 speed manual gearbox with 1220 cc  flat four air-cooled engine, hydraulic suspension. Resprayed in France in 2004.  Rare model with old style dashboard featuring the "revolving" speedometer and old style front "honeycomb" grille. Low mileage  (only 51000 kms) with original service history and owner's manual. Very good condition inside / out.

SPECIFICATIONS: Flat four, air cooled with opposed pair of cylinders. Crank case and cylinder heads of light alloy. Oil cooler and cartridge oil filter. Two overhead camshafts, one per cylinder head, driven by rubber toothed belts. Max power DIN: 60bhp at 5750 rpm. Max torque DIN: 64.25ft/lb at 3250rpm. Peformance: Max. speed 94mph approx. 0- 50mph: 10.6 secs. Fuel comsumption: Constant 55mph: 41.55 mpg. Transmission: Front wheel drive, single dry plate clutch. Four speed all synchromesh box. Double constant velocity drive shafts. Suspension : Hydropneumatic independent on all four wheels each fitted with a hydarulic suspension unit with built-in shock absorbers. Height corrector valves front and rear, supplied by a high pressure pump with reserve of energy, ensure constant ground clearance whatever the load. Brakes: Dual-circuit power operated discs on all four wheels. Parking brake acts on front discs using seperate calipers. Steering: rack and pinion.
